In the session Mrs Morgan will be explaining the tests the children will be taking, when they are taking them and what parents can do at home to support their child in the lead up to the tests.
Years 3 and 4 will be working with artists from Corby Cube to make lanterns using willow. Love being creative at Hazel Leys Academy.
The Kid Lit Events will take place from Monday 4th to Friday 8th March 2019. This year’s Festival features a fantastic programme of truly entertaining and informative authors of very popular books for children of all ages. There will be storytelling, character drawing, tales of bravery, time travelling cats and amazing unicorns, and poetry to inspire, entertain and delight. Authors this year include Chrissie Gittins, Julia Jarman, Ian Whybrow, Julie Sykes and Linda Davies
