For Red Nose Day this year the theme is Super Heroes and children will be asked to dress up for the day - it could be an existing super hero or one the children have made up. If the children do not want to dress up they could wear red for the day as an alternative.

I’m sure you were all happy to hear the Prime Minister’s announcement on Monday stating, amongst other positive news, that schools can fully re-open on Monday 8th March to all pupils.
As such, we are excitedly looking forward to seeing all of our pupils in school on that day.
World Book Day is on Thursday 4th March 2021. The theme this year will be ‘Alice in Wonderland’ across the Academy. There will be a whole school assembly on Thursday 4th March at 2.30pm where we will read the story of Alice in Wonderland followed by a mini quiz.

Children will be invited to a Mad Hatter's Tea Party, to enjoy some scones and hot chocolate. We would love for the children at home to join in too.
Children can dress up as any book character, both in school and at home. We would love to see lots of photos of the children enjoying World Book Day. These can be shared with your child’s class teacher.
Throughout the week there will be many opportunities to join in with virtual World Book Day activities, which will be shared on the class TEAMS pages
