Remote Education
Remote Learning at Hazel Leys Academy
At Hazel Leys Academy we want every child to keep learning even if they cannot be in school. Our Remote Learning Policy helps us make sure learning continues safely and smoothly.
When Remote Learning Might Be Needed
Sometimes we may need to switch to remote learning. This could happen because of bad weather safety concerns or advice from the Local Authority Trust or Government.
If this happens we will provide learning in different ways to suit the situation. Our aim is always to keep things consistent and reduce any disruption for your child
How We Will Contact You
If the school needs to close we will let you know through:
- Arbor (our email and text messaging service)
- Updates on our school website
Our X (formerly Twitter) and Facebook pages
For longer closures we will also send extra details by email.
You can find more information in our full Remote Learning Policy below.
