Hazel Leys Academy Achieves LPPA Award 2025–2028

We are delighted to announce that, following 18 months of dedicated work and collaboration with our school community, Hazel Leys Academy has been awarded the Leading Parent Partnership Award (LPPA) for the period 2025–2028.

This prestigious recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to building strong, effective partnerships with parents and carers, and to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all our pupils.

We are incredibly proud of this achievement and grateful to everyone who contributed to the process—from staff and families to our wider Corby community. Your support has been invaluable.

As we look ahead, we remain focused on strengthening these partnerships and continuing our collaborative efforts to enhance the educational experience for every child at Hazel Leys Academy.

We are pleased to share the Healthy Schools Summer Mailout. It includes a range of events and activities happening across Northamptonshire over the summer break. Lots of great fun things to do for your family.

Year 2 have been focussing on healthy eating. At the beginning of the week we read about the different food groups in our reading lesson. Following on, we worked together to group different food and drink into the correct food groups. We reflected on our own diets and whether we have too much or too little of certain food groups.
