Year 5 are currently reading ‘The River Singers’ by Tom Moorhouse.  The children are very much enjoying the book and have no doubt been telling you all about water voles and how they are close to extinction! 

We are very excited to be welcoming Tom to our school on Thursday 15^th November to spend time with Year 5 - and also Year 6 - to discuss the book, his life as an author, his passion for the endangered water vole and all about his work as a Professor at Oxford University Ecology Department.
